Shakespeare’s Globe

Founded by the pioneering actor and director Sam Wanamaker, Shakespeare’s Globe is a unique international resource dedicated to the exploration of Shakespeare’s work and the playhouse for which he wrote.

You are able to go on guided tours of the theatre all year round, and in the summer months, watch a Shakespeare play in the setting it was originally written for. The Globe has productions all year round in the indoor Sam Wanamaker Playhouse, so it doesn’t matter what time of year you’re visiting, there’s always something to see and do.
