Looking for things to do over the Platinum Jubilee bank holiday weekend in London?
To celebrate the Queen’s 70th year as monarch, the last May Bank Holiday, has been moved to June, and we will now have an extra-long bank holiday weekend, from Thursday 2nd until Sunday 5th of June 2022.
To mark such a special occasion, there will be lots of celebrations taking place all around London and there is no better way to move around the capital on these days than on board our river cruise along the Thames.

Taking place on Thursday, this is the Queen’s official birthday parade. This traditional ceremony features soldiers, horses and musicians, and closes with an RAF fly-past.
Superbloom at the Tower of London
From the 1st of June until mid-September, you will be able to experience this colourful and vibrant field of flowers that will fill and transform the moat of the Tower of London. Book your tickets here
This is one of the central celebrations and will take place near Buckingham Palace on Sunday. This free event will combine music, carnival, costume and street arts to pay tribute to Her Majesty’s dedication to the Commonwealth.
