Things to see and do in Greenwich

Once you’ve enjoyed your fromage and Champagne, you must spend time exploring Greenwich. You’ll be on the doorstep of the historic Greenwich Market, a famous indoor market full of stalls – perfect for handmade jewellery and crafts, as well as lots more artisan food. There are also museums and historic attractions to explore, including the National Maritime Museum and the Old Royal Naval College – both of which are free.

If it’s a lovely day and you fancy a walk that’ll give you great views of London, wander over to Greenwich Park. One of the Royal Parks of London, the climb to the top of the hill is worthwhile in order to get some spectacular views of the River Thames, Canary Wharf and the rest of London. The Park is also home to the Royal Observatory and the Prime Meridian Line which divides east from west and is the reference point for Greenwich Meantime.
